RAIN BELLS — Crying Together
The Rain Bells drop their feelings into the basin below. Each bell gathers its own worries, disappointments, excitement, and sorrow — releasing them one drop at a time into the water.
At first, the basin holds everything quietly. Each drop creates a tiny ripple before disappearing into the growing pool. But the Rain Bells never notice how full it has become.
Until one day, a single drop is enough.
The water spills over the edges, rushing out in every direction, carrying everything that has been gathering for so long.
The drops keep falling and falling, and no one knows which one will make it overflow next.
An original watercolor illustration from World of Pey, featuring a gathering of indigo-blue botanical beings suspended above a stone basin. Beneath their delicate appearance lies a story of feelings that quietly accumulate until they can no longer be contained.
